Tillman came into the nationally televised fight as the favorite. He had a 10-0 record with seven knockouts and a four-inch height advantage.
Cooper, 191, of Philadelphia, landed a left hook and right to the head that knocked Tillman down in the second round. Later, in the round, he nailed Tillman with another right to the head for a second knockdown, and Tillman barely beat the count.
