With golf and diving on its agenda, ABC has come up with two of today’s most interesting attractions on the tube.

The talented field fighting for golf’s prestigious PGA Championship at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, enters the final two rounds today and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42). If possible, according to ABC, four-time PGA champ Jack Nicklaus will make an appearance in the broadcast booth on both telecasts alongside announcers Jim McKay, Jack Whitaker and Dave Marr.

If you’re put off by putts and such, there’s the United States Diving Championships on “Wide World of Sports” today at 4 p.m. (10) and 4:30 p.m. (7)(3)(42). Two of the divers to watch in the men’s 10-meter platform competition are two-time Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis and Olympic silver medalist Bruce Kimball.

Appropriately for a warm summer afternoon, the ABC sports anthology series also will feature Pro Beach Volleyball from Zuma Beach.

Moving from volleyball to baseball, the Dodgers will be trying to “spike” the Cincinnati Reds in Riverfront Stadium at 11:15 a.m. (4)(36)(39). The Western Division foes will complete their weekend series Sunday at 11:10 a.m. (11).

Another old rivalry--this one in pro football--will be renewed Sunday as the Raiders and San Francisco 49ers go helmet-to-helmet in a preseason game from Candlestick Park at noon (2)(8).

The game will be preceded by an “NFL Football Preview” at 11 a.m. (2)(8).

For auto-racing fans, CBS has coverage of the year’s final International Race of Champions from Watkins Glen, N.Y., today at 4 p.m. while NBC’s “SportsWorld” features the Michigan 500 Sunday at 3 p.m. (4).
