Boxer Bobby Chacon, 34, and his wife of 2 1/2 months, Renee Vincent, 25, obtained mutual restraining orders against each other in court filings for their pending divorce.

Among other things, the restraining orders direct Chacon, who is awaiting trial on charges of assault against Vincent, not to come within 75 feet of her.

Although Chacon and Vincent reconciled and married three weeks after Chacon’s May 22 arrest for beating her, authorities in Oroville, Calif., refused to drop the case, which is scheduled to go to trial Sept. 29. Chacon was in the process of appealing revocation of probation for beating his former wife when the incident with Vincent occurred.
