There’s a bushel of televised pro and college football games this weekend, but which of them will carry the most weight with local viewers?

There are two strong candidates. First up is ABC’s telecast of the USC vs. Baylor game today at 12:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42). On Sunday, CBS will carry the game between the Rams and Indianapolis Colts at 10 a.m. (2)(8).

One other college football game of note finds Notre Dame vs. Michigan State today at 11:30 a.m. (2)(8).

Meanwhile, on the baseball front, the California Angels continue their march toward a division title against the Chicago White Sox today at 12:15 p.m. (4)(36)(39), and the Dodgers will be playing the Cincinnati Reds Sunday at 11:10 a.m. (11).

In addition, the semifinals of the Volvo Tennis/Los Angeles tournament can be seen today at 3 p.m. (2), with the finals due Sunday at 4 p.m. on the same station.
