San Diego Volleyball : SDSU Stretches Win Streak to 20

The San Diego State women’s volleyball team remained unbeaten with a 15-9, 15-7, 15-9 victory Saturday over Fresno State. Angelica Jackson had 15 kills and Kris Morton 11 for the Aztecs. San Diego State (20-0) is the No. 1-ranked NCAA Division I team. The Aztecs play the San Jose State, ranked No. 2, Monday.
Karen Lontka led Cal State Northridge past UC San Diego, 15-11, 15-5, 13-15, 15-6, to win the UCSD Invitational women’s volleyball tournament. Lontka was named the tournament’s most valuable player. Northridge reached the finals Saturday by defeating Westmont College of Santa Barbara, 15-6, 15-9. In the semifinals, the Tritons beat Chapman College, 8-15, 15-7, 15-13.
