County lifeguards and a sheriff’s search team recovered the body of a man believed to be that of a missing diver in Bluff Cove, off the Palos Verdes Estates coastline. Lt. Wally Millican said the victim was found by the diving teams at the 25-to-30-foot depth. The man apparently had become trapped in dense kelp beds. The coroner and members of the missing man’s family were summoned to King Harbor to make identification. The diver, a 31-year-old Torrance resident, disappeared while he and two companions were looking for lobsters on the opening day of the season, Millican said.
