Agoura 17, Beverly Hills 14--Agoura trailed, 14-10, late in the fourth quarter, but Doug Hastings gave the Chargers the upset win on a three-yard touchdown run with three minutes left in the nonleague game at Beverly Hills.

Agoura shut out the Normans in the first half, holding them to 36 yards passing and six yards rushing. Beverly Hills fullback Willie Crawford, who had averaged 8.1 yards per carry in the Normans’ previous four games, was held to two yards on seven carries in the first half, and finished with only 60 yards on 15 attempts.

“This has been our best defensive execution,” Agoura Coach Frank Greminger said. “We’ve been embarrassed a few times this year.”

Agoura (2-3) was led by quarterback Rick Dobraski, who completed 11 of 17 passes for 136 yards. The Chargers gained 317 yards in total offense while Beverly Hills (4-1) had 194.
