USIU Trails After First Round in Golf

The United States International University women’s golf team is in last place in the 10-team Nancy Lopez Invitational at Cedar Ridge Country Club, in Tulsa, Okla., after Wednesday’s first-round 334. Arizona State leads with a 304, Oklahoma is second with 311 and Tulsa is third with 320. UCLA is sixth at 330.

USIU’s Laurette Meritz and Allison Shapcott each shot 80 to tie for 18th.
