College Roundup : Light and Jenson Lead Chapman to Volleyball Win Over Bakersfield
Tammy Light had 14 kills and Janet Jenson added 13 Friday night to lead Chapman College to a 15-10, 15-10, 8-15, 15-11 victory over Cal State Bakersfield in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. volleyball match at Chapman.
The Panthers are 3-3 in conference and 10-13 overall. Bakersfield is 0-6 and 4-16.
In Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. volleyball action:
San Diego State 3, UC Irvine 0--The top-ranked Aztecs (10-2, 33-2) defeated the Anteaters, 15-2, 15-3, 15-8 at San Diego. Carol Janisch had eight kills for the Anteaters (1-10, 7-19).
