UC San Diego Beats San Bernardino in Volleyball
UC San Diego defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 15-13, 15-1, 15-7, Friday to advance to the finals of the Seagrams Cooler Classic volleyball tournament.
UCSD (36-6), ranked second in Division III, will meet top-ranked Menlo in tonight’s 7:30 championship match.
Menlo (34-7) defeated Clairemont, 15-9, 15-6, 15-1, to reach the finals.
UCSD and Menlo have split their first two meetings this season. Tonight’s match will be a preview of next weekend’s NCAA regionals at UCSD, which will include both teams.
