Lucas of Katella Will Attend Oregon

Richard Lucas, a 6-foot 5-inch senior forward at Katella High School, verbally committed to attend the University of Oregon Tuesday and is expected to sign a national letter of intent today.

Lucas averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds as a junior and helped Katella reach the 2-A semifinals.

Before committing to Oregon, Lucas visited Cal State Fullerton and Oregon State.
