Pomona Beats Chapman in Volleyball

Peggy Baker had 15 kills and Gayle Deisinger added 13 Wednesday night to lead the Cal Poly Pomona women’s volleyball team to a 15-12, 4-15, 15-9, 5-15, 15-11, win over Chapman in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. match in the Hutton Sports Center at Orange.
Tammy Light had 17 kills, 9 solo blocks and 11 block assists for the Panthers, 3-6 in conference and 11-21 overall. The Broncos are 4-6 and 15-14.
