Mater Dei’s Peabody Leaves Rice for OCC, McKnight Says

Tom Peabody, a 6-foot 5-inch point guard for Mater Dei High School last season, has left Rice University in Houston and will transfer to Orange Coast College, according to Monarch Coach Gary McKnight.

Peabody was a two-year starter for the Monarchs and helped them win two 5-A division titles. Mater Dei was 59-1 with Peabody in the starting lineup.
