Long Beach to Play TCU
Cal State Long Beach plays host to Texas Christian University in a nonconference basketball game tonight at 7:30. The 49ers (5-4) suffered two injuries at the Boise State Tournament over the weekend.
Guard Morlon Wiley tripped over an opponent’s leg and sprained his left ankle two minutes into Saturday’s 83-75 victory over Southwest Texas State in the third-place game. Tony Ronzone, the other starting guard, suffered a cut on his heel when glass from a picture frame fell on his foot in his hotel room. Both could play tonight.
