Barons’ Brown Wins 300th

Andy Tulumello’s basket, the only points scored in the extra period Friday night, held up to give Fountain Valley High School’s Dave Brown his 300th victory as the Barons’ coach as Ocean View lost in overtime, 49-48.

With the score tied, 47-47, in regulation, Ocean View’s Doug Rice took a 15-foot shot at the buzzer that went in and out sending the game into overtime.

Ocean View led most of the way, but Fountain Valley outscored the Seahawks, 11-8, in the fourth period to tie the game.
