Orange County Community College Basketball : Fullerton Beats Mt. SAC, 89-65

Troy Joseph and Kevin Patrick scored 19 points each to lead Fullerton College to a 89-65 victory over Mt. San Antonio in a South Coast Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday at Mt. SAC.

The Hornets improved to 3-2 in South Coast Conference and 15-7 overall. Mt. SAC is 1-4, 8-12.

Long Beach City 68, Golden West 62--Henry Johnson scored 19 points to lead Vikings (3-2, 11-10) at Golden West. Jim Stewart scored 16 for the Rustlers (0-5, 4-14) at Golden West.

Golden West trailed, 57-54, with five minutes remaining, but Long Beach scored the next eight points for the victory.

In South Coast Conference women’s games:

Fullerton 72, Mt. SAC 33--Rochelle Seabrook scored 17 points and Stacy Rooney had 15 to lead the Hornets (4-1,13-8) at Fullerton. Mt. SAC is 1-4, 4-11.

Golden West 97, Long Beach 56--April Marion scored 24 points and Jeannine Battaglia added 22 to lead Golden West (5-0, 22-1) at Long Beach. The Rustlers are ranked second in the state. The Vikings are 1-4, 6-13.
