In the Century League:

Foothill 60, El Modena 40--Sue Davis scored 16, Najla Mitchell added 15 and Sheila Bender had 14 as the Knights (5-0, 16-3) won at home. Barbie Olson led the Vanguards (5-0, 16-3) with 26.

Santa Ana Valley 47, Santa Ana 30--Susan Hatchett scored 17 and Sharon Murrell added 12 as the Falcons (3-2, 9-5) won at Santa Ana. Trina Bruce led the Saints (0-5, 4-11) with 15.

In the Olympic League:

Brethren 34, Orange Lutheran 28--Michelle Mitchell scored a game-high 16 points to lead Brethern at Orange Lutheran. Brethren (3-3, 6-9) was helped by Cyndi Patterson with 10 points. Beverly Mueller had 9 points and 11 rebounds for the Lancers (0-7, 6-9).

In the Empire League:

Cypress 54, Esperanza 47--After trailing 27-29 at halftime, the Centurions (4-5, 10-9) rallied with the help of Diane Pohl, who scored 18 points and had 13 rebounds. Karin Davidson led the Aztecs (4-5,11-8) with 14 points at Cypress.

Kennedy 75, El Dorado 23--Ursula Lovely scored a career-high 37 points and had 24 rebounds for the Fighting Irish (7-2, 9-6) at El Dorado. Deena Masumiya added 18 for Kennedy.

In the Collegiate League:

California School for the Deaf at Riverside 46, St. Margaret’s 37--Julie Hill scored 22 points for CSDR (2-1, 7-4) at St. Margaret’s. Jennifer Morris scored nine points for St. Margaret’s (1-2, 5-8).

In the Freeway League:

Fullerton 70, Buena Park 44--Heidi Shikuma scored 28 points and Vicki Silva added 19 as the Indians (5-0, 11-6) won at home. Kelly Hilliard led Buena Park with 29. The Coyotes fall to 2-3 in league.

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 65, Magnolia 32--Carrie Egan scored 24 points, Susan Tousey added 11 and Kristin McPhee had 10 as the Wildcats (5-0, 16-3) won at home. Katy Donica led Magnolia (3-2, 14-4) with 18.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Orange 59, Laguna Beach 47--Suzette Sargeant led the Panthers with 34 and Alicia East added 20 as Orange won at Laguna Beach. Felicia Chalmers led the Artists (0-6, 10-3) with 15, and Lisa Watford added 13. Orange is 3-2 in league.

In the Sea View League:

Newport Harbor 45, Corona del Mar 34--Sarah Andrus scored 18 points and freshman Stacey Giem added 14 as the Sailors (2-3, 8-8) beat Corona del Mar for the first time in five seasons. Kathy Smirl led the Sea Kings with 21. Corona del Mar is 1-4 in league.

Tustin 49, Estancia 46, OT--Tiller point guard Janice Gonzales made two free throws with 30 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the score, 41-41. Tricia Andres, who was held to 12 points, made a layup with one second remaining for the victory. Jennifer Klein led Tustin with 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Erica Goodman led Estancia (4-1, 11-7) with 17 points at Tustin. The Tillers (5-0, 16-5) move to first place in the Sea View.

University 51, Saddleback 26--Michelle Cummings led the Trojans (3-2, 5-11) with 10 points and 8 rebounds at University. Monica Walton had 13 points for the Roadrunners.

In the South Coast league:

El Toro 77, Dana Hills 30--Andrea Young scored 23 points to lead the Chargers (4-1, 14-7) at Dana Hills. Elaine Youngs added 19 points and 9 rebounds for El Toro. April Holloway had 10 points for the Dolphins.

In boys’ games:

Cal Lutheran 62, St. Michael’s 51--Todd Moe scored 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead Cal Lutheran at the South Coast YMCA. Sean Heagney scored 16 points and Nico Melendez had 11 points and 8 rebounds for the Pioneers (2-5, 3-5).

Harbor Baptist 66, Claremont 62--David Jennings scored 34 points to lead Harbor Baptist. Tom Petraw led Claremont (0-10) with 29 and Mark Sanger added 20.

St. Margaret’s 85, California School for the Deaf in Riverside--Chris Cooper scored 27 points and Mark Campaine had 24 to lead St. Margaret’s (3-0, 13-1). The Tartans built a 35-18 halftime lead and scored 32 points in the final quarter at St. Margaret’s.

Brethren 76, Orange Lutheran 62--Chris Tatum scored 25 points to lead Brethern at home. Brethern (4-3 in the Olympic League) outscored the Lancers, 18-6, in the second quarter to build a 14-point halftime lead. Orange Lutheran was led by Jason Neben with 14 points.
