San Diego College Baseball : UC San Diego Thrown for Loss
Lazaro Inguanzo scored from second with two out in the eighth inning on Dave Stanovich’s throwing error as Cal State Dominguez Hills defeated UC San Diego, 3-2, Wednesday at Carson.
Despite a complete-game five hitter by UCSD’s Dave Adamson Dominguez Hills (1-0), No. 6-ranked in the NCAA Division II, prevailed behind the pitching of Dennis Brady and Chris Haslock.
Stanovich was 3 for 5 and Brian Rude and Jim Martinez each went 2 for 4 with an RBI for UCSD (0-3).
