Whittier Christian, With 20-Game Win Streak, Makes Its Debut in Top 10 Poll
Whittier Christian High School made its debut in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep basketball poll Monday as the No. 10 team.
Whittier Christian, a 1-A division school in La Habra, has won 20 consecutive games since losing its season opener to Lynwood in the Laguna Beach Tournament.
In the featured game of the week, second-ranked Katella (21-2) plays hosts Los Alamitos (18-4) at 7:30 Friday night for the Empire League title.
