UC San Diego Routs Christian Heritage

SAN DIEGO — UC San Diego had three players score in double figures as the Tritons routed Christian Heritage College, 138-81, in a nonconference men’s basketball game at La Jolla.
John Saintignon led all scorers with 29 points for UCSD (18-7). Greg Kamansky scored 24 and Brian Backens added 22 for the Tritons, who took a 69-25 halftime lead. Christian Heritage (5-18) was led by Bill Soucie’s 22 points and Sean Smith’s 10.
