USIU Beats SDSU in Softball

SAN DIEGO — Terry Esquivel pitched a complete-game four-hitter Tuesday to lead United States International University to a 5-0 victory over San Diego State in the first game of a nonconference women’s softball doubleheader at San Diego State.
The second game was tied, 1-1, after 10 innings when it was called because of darkness.
