Top gun: Kim Peppi, who is the all-time leading scorer for Cal Lutheran’s women’s basketball team, broke the 1,500-point mark Tuesday night when she scored 14 points against Cal State Los Angeles. The 5-9 senior guard, who broke the school scoring record last season when she passed Lisa Sanchez (973 points), has scored 1,502 career points.
Peppi is also an All-District III pitcher on CLU’s softball team. Last year, she had a 16-7 record.
