Happy trails: The road won’t be so lonely for the Cal State Northridge basketball team as it closes out the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. regular season with games at Cal State Bakersfield and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Friday and Saturday.
In the stands cheering for the Matadors as they try to wrap up a berth in the CCAA postseason tournament will be the Northridge softball and swim teams.
The softball team is participating in a tournament at Bakersfield Friday through Sunday. The swim team is competing in the CCAA swim championships at Bakersfield on Thursday through Sunday.
A CSUN win against Bakersfield coupled with a Chapman loss to UC Riverside would put the Matadors in the tournament win or lose against San Luis Obispo.
