Roger Price, who led Vista High School to the San Diego Section 3-A football championship in 1985, was dismissed from the Brigham Young University football team for violating school standards, a university official said.

Sports information director Dave Schulthess said two freshman running backs, Price and Stacey Corley of Grants, N.M., were removed from the team and will not be invited back next fall.

The school does not normally divulge the nature of infractions, but Schulthess said he was unaware of any criminal allegations against Corley or Price.
