USIU Wins Point Loma Golf Tournament Title
United States International University, with a combined score of 580, won the team championship of the 36-hole Point Loma Intercollegiate tournament Monday at Cottonwood Country Club at San Diego.
Cory Synnestvedt of UC Irvine shot a 10-under-par 134 to win the individual competition. Tom Copeland of USIU was the runner-up at 136.
