Santa Ana Gains Basketball Final

Santa Ana High School rallied from a 24-19 first-half deficit to defeat Ocean View, 71-54, Saturday in a championship semifinal of the Santa Ana 12-team summer basketball tournament at Santa Ana.
In the other championship semifinal, Lakewood beat University, 55-48.
In third-place semifinals, Warren edged Gahr, 60-57, and Tustin beat Irvine, 48-41.
In the consolation semifinals, South Lake Tahoe defeated Saddleback, 56-45, and Western beat Orange, 57-50.
Final play is scheduled for today, when Saddleback will play Orange at 12:45 p.m.; South Lake Tahoe will meet Western at 2 p.m.; Gahr will play Irvine at 3:15 p.m.; Warren will meet Tustin at 4:30 p.m.; University will play Ocean View at 5:45 p.m., and Santa Ana will meet Lakewood for the championship at 7 p.m.
