The nefarious deals and blatant rip-offs perpetrated by Al Davis rate a chapter all by themselves in the “Con Man’s Handbook.”
It is hard to believe that a public entity could be so stupid and naive as to give Davis $10 million non-refundable for signing a memorandum of agreement for the Raiders to relocate. One wonders if Davis and his cohorts will ever stop cackling over pocketing 10 million easy ones from the Irwindale gravelheads.
