USD Beats St. Mary’s in Women’s Volleyball

The University of San Diego women’s volleyball team defeated St. Mary’s College, 15-8, 19-17, 15-11, in the West Coast Athletic Conference women’s volleyball opener for both schools at Moraga, Calif., Thursday night.

The Toreras (3-7 overall) were led by Jody Conner, who had 11 kills and 5 digs. Carrie Sullivan had 15 kills and 11 digs for the Gaels (3-8).
