Loyola 34, El Camino Real 0--Quarterback Jason Evans ran for two touchdowns as Loyola High piled up 325 yards in total offense in the nonleague game at Pierce College.
The Cub defense dominated the game, allowing El Camino Real (0-2) only 39 yards in total offense and minus-5 yards rushing. The Conquistadores’ deepest penetration was to the Loyola 49-yard line late in the fourth quarter.
Loyola (4-0) tailback Johann Fuller, who rushed for 85 yards on 10 carries, scored on a 30-yard run in the first quarter to give the Cubs a 6-0 lead.
Evans dominated the second quarter, scoring on a 1-yard run and engineering a touchdown drive in the last 58 seconds of the first half.
