ORANGE COUNTY PREP FOOTBALL : Freeway League : Chisum Throws for 3 Scores in Sunny Hills’ 36-0 Victory
Senior quarterback David Chisum passed for three touchdowns to lead Sunny Hills High School to a 36-0 Freeway League victory over Fullerton Friday night in front of 800 at Fullerton District Stadium.
Chisum completed 6 of 11 passes for 104 yards, with touchdown passes of 27, 19 and 9 yards. He has thrown 13 passes for touchdowns--with no interceptions--this season.
It was the fourth shutout of the season for Sunny Hills (6-0, 1-0). Fullerton is 0-6, 0-1.
Troy 13, Buena Park 7--Chris Conway rushed for 139 yards in 10 carries and scored a touchdown to lead the Warriors (2-4, 1-0) over the Coyotes (3-3, 0-1) in front of 700 at Buena Park High School.
Conway scored on an 86-yard run on the first play of the second quarter. Tyron Lewis scored on a two-yard run with 48 seconds left in the second quarter.
Buena Park scored late in the third quarter when wide receiver Matt Acevedo recovered a fumble by quarterback Dave Baylor, who fumbled the ball into the end zone.
Baylor was intercepted by Tom Wilson three times in the game’s final 10 minutes.
