SDSU’s Booker to Miss Long Beach Contest
SAN DIEGO — San Diego State tailback Tommy Booker will be out out at least another week with a sprained ankle and will miss Saturday’s game against Cal State Long Beach, SDSU sports information director John Rosenthal said Monday.
Booker, a freshman from Vista High School, has not practiced since he injured the ankle in the first half against Texas El Paso Oct. 10.
Booker is the team’s second leading rusher with 238 yards in 57 carries.
Mario Mitchell, junior cornerback, is listed as questionable for Cal State Long Beach after he sprained his left ankle Saturday against Stanford.
