Car Strikes, Kills Glendale Man, 64,
A 64-year-old Glendale man was killed Monday evening while crossing Glenoaks Boulevard in an area not marked by a crosswalk, authorities said.
Jong Man Park was walking north across West Glenoaks Boulevard when he was hit by an auto driven by Jim Bournas of Burbank, police said.
Park, who suffered multiple head and internal injuries, was taken to the trauma center at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he died. Bournas was not injured.
The accident is under investigation, a police spokesman said. No charges have been filed against Bournas.
