Moorpark Runners Defeat 3 WSC Foes

Debbie Ball led Moorpark College to victories over Bakersfield, Glendale and Santa Monica in a Western State Conference three-way cross-country meet Friday at Griffith Park.

Ball ran the three-mile course in 18 minutes, 41 seconds to finish first and pace Moorpark to a 16-42 win over Bakersfield. The Raiders (5-0 in conference meets) also defeated Glendale, 15-50, and Santa Monica, 23-32.
