Guard Rod Strickland, DePaul’s No. 2 scorer last season, has been declared academically ineligible to play basketball in the fall quarter.

Strickland, a junior, will be able to continue practicing with the team but won’t be allowed to play in games until at least the completion of his final examinations early in December.
