Miami’s second-ranked football team, which will play top-ranked Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, can make that game count for the national championship if it defeats South Carolina tonight. The Hurricanes, 10-0 and coming off a victory over Notre Dame last week, will wind up their season at home against the Gamecocks (8-2). South Carolina has already been selected to play Louisiana State in the Gator Bowl.

In other college football games today, Army (4-6) will play Navy (2-8) at Philadelphia, and Arkansas, 8-3 and bound for a Liberty Bowl date with Georgia, will tune up at Hawaii (5-6).
