Sunset Adopts 45-Second Clock

The Sunset League, along with the Freeway League, was a step ahead of other county leagues when it introduced the three-point shot last season. Now, it will pioneer a 45-second clock in its league games, which begin Friday.
According to Roy Miller, Huntington Beach coach, league coaches expect the clock to be adopted in the coming seasons by the National Federation of State High School Athletic Assns., just as the three-point shot was last March.
