THE PREPS : Youngs May Be Out for a Month

Elaine Youngs, El Toro High School’s exceptional center, reinjured her right ankle during a South Coast League girls’ basketball game Thursday against Mission Viejo and is expected to be out for a month, according to Greg Yeck, El Toro coach.
Youngs, an all-Southern Section volleyball and basketball player who has signed to play both sports at UCLA, was injured early in the first quarter driving to the basket. She initially injured the ankle during the Savanna Tournament in December.
