Cypress 78, Riverside 59--Jim Sammon of Cypress scored 23 points to lead all scorers at Riverside. Jeff Green added 17 points, including three three-pointers for Cypress (22-5, 5-0). Corey Arnett had 17 points and David Clark 16 for Riverside (11-15, 1-4).

Orange Coast 72, Citrus 56--David Miles scored 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting and Dareck Crane added 18 on 8-of-13 shooting to lead visiting OCC (15-12, 2-3). Miles had 11 rebounds and Crane had 8. OCC shot 58% (25 of 43). Citrus is 5-18, 0-5.

Golden West 81, Compton 73--Doug McCusker scored with a minute left to lead host Golden West on a 9-0 run at home. Jim Stewart scored 18 for Golden West (13-11, 3-5).

Cerritos 67, Fullerton 65--Fullerton’s Geoffrey Adams missed two free throws with two seconds remaining in the loss at Cerritos. Steve Fendry scored a game-high 19 points, including a free throw with 23 seconds remaining to lead Cerritos (17-8, 6-2). Troy Joseph and Kellie McKinney scored 15 points each for Fullerton (15-9, 5-3).
