Community College Baseball : Lloyd’s 3 Hits Spark Rancho Santiago’s Victory

Todd Lloyd had three hits to lead Rancho Santiago College to an 18-2 victory over Mira Costa Monday in a nonconference game at Rancho Santiago.

Lloyd drove in five runs, three on a first-inning home run that gave Rancho Santiago (2-0) an early lead. David Tellers pitched six shutout innings, with six strikeouts.

Saddleback 8, Santa Monica 5--Carl Watkins and Donnie Harrell each had 2 RBIs to lead Saddleback (1-0).
