Cal Poly Pomona Overpowers CSUN
Cathy Gooden scored a game-high 26 points and Marcine Edmonds and Niki Bracken combined for 33 to lead Cal Poly Pomona to an 82-65 victory over Cal State Northridge in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game Thursday at Pomona.
Center Kathleen Dixon led CSUN (10-12, 4-4 in conference play) with 19 points. Marianne Dixon and Julie Arlotto added 13 and 12 points. Vicki Mallett had six assists for the Lady Matadors.
Pomona improved to 20-3, 8-0 in conference play to remain atop the CCAA standings.
