Point Loma Girls Regain Poll Lead
After two weeks at No. 2, the Point Loma High School girls’ basketball team regained the top spot in The Times’ final San Diego County top 10.
Point Loma (25-2) defeated Santana, 48-47, in the final of the Kiwanis tournament Dec. 26. That was the only loss for Santana (22-1) this season. Point Loma lost to Fallbrook (39-37) Jan. 12 and Patrick Henry (52-50) Feb. 2.
