Wyoming Ends Season With a 56-50 Victory
Eric Leckner made four free throws in the final 25 seconds Friday night as No. 17-ranked Wyoming ended its regular season with a 56-50 victory over Boise State.
The Broncos, who dropped to 22-5, were down, 52-50, with 35 seconds to play but turned the ball over on an errant pass.
Leckner, who made 14 of his 15 second-half free throws, led the Cowboys (23-5) with 22 points.
Wyoming, which scored a season-low 17 points in the first half and trailed Boise State by 5 at the half, outscored the visitors, 8-0, early in the second half and took a 31-26 lead with 14:09 left.
