AND IN THIS CORNER: Would you want to mess with Mike Tyson? Definitely not, especially now that the heavyweight champ is not only a newlywed but an expectant father, with his recent bride, actress Robin Givens. Nonetheless, Tyson is getting some static from Kool Rock, one of the hefty members of the Fat Boys who used to date Givens (as did Eddie Murphy and Michael Jordan, if you believe a recent item in the New York Post’s Page Six column).

The bad blood between Rock and Tyson dates back to a near-confrontation last year at a New York club where Tyson reportedly tried to persuade Givens to ditch Rock, her date that evening. Rock was soon joined by fellow Fat Boy rapper Markie Dee, who got into a shouting match with Tyson, resulting in the promise of a Tyson vs. Fat Boys exhibition bout at New York’s Felt Forum.

The Post has reported that the Fat Boys “wisely ducked” the match. Not so, insists fellow band member Darren (Human Beat Box) Robinson, who is perhaps the fattest of all the Fat Boys--and almost as fat as recent Tyson knockout victim Tony (TNT) Tubbs. Robinson, who also goes by the nickname Buff (for Buffalo), has issued the following challenge: “Bring on Iron Mike any time. This is a match that would separate the big from the biggest, the star from the real superstar. He won’t be able to push Buff around the way he did with Tubbs. And if I really hurt him, Robin and the kid would stay with me in Queens.”
