Edison’s Carpenter Commits to Fresno State

Terry Carpenter, a softball pitcher at Edison High School, said Monday she orally committed to attend Fresno State.

Carpenter who has pitched five no-hitters including one perfect game this season, has an 8-3 record.

In addition to Fresno State, last year’s Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. co-champion, Carpenter visited Cal State Fullerton, Arizona State, University of Arizona, Nevada Las Vegas and Texas A&M.; Carpenter’s older sister, Julie, is a senior pitcher at Texas A&M.;
