Cheatham Heads North Selections for All-Star Game

Sean Cheatham, Rancho Alamitos High School’s high-scoring running back, heads the list of selections for the North team that will participate in the 29th Orange County All-Star football game scheduled for July 8 in Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.
Cheatham led the county in scoring with 174 points in 10 games. He scored 25 touchdowns and rushed for 12 two-point conversions. He also led the county with 1,904 yards rushing.
David Chisum, Sunny Hills’ prolific quarterback, also was selected for the team. Chisum was the county’s top-rated quarterback under the NCAA’s formula for passing efficiency with 1,509 yards passing and 17 touchdowns.
North co-coaches Carl Sweet of El Dorado and Pat Mahoney of Villa Park selected four players from each of their teams for the game. The roster:
