Woodland Hills (West) 17, North Hollywood 2--Dan McAdoo homered and Bryce Welch doubled to lead an 18-hit Woodland Hills’ attack in a game at North Hollywood that was called after seven innings because of the 10-run rule.

Newhall-Saugus (SC) 10, Valley (ET) 1--Jared Snyder had two doubles and three RBIs and keyed a six-run rally in the seventh inning for visiting Newhall-Saugus.

San Fernando 22, Chatsworth 7--John Najar homered and San Fernando pounded 16 hits off five pitchers in a rematch of the City Section 4-A Division semifinalists. Saturday’s game was called after seven innings because of the 10-run rule.

Richard Ortiz had two of San Fernando’s five doubles. Ty Powell and Jon Haselbusch each tripled to lead Chatsworth’s eight-hit attack.

Chatsworth (7-2) committed seven errors.

Van Nuys-Notre Dame 10, Newhall-Saugus (H) 6--Rob Kostenbader tripled and scored three runs and pitcher Kevin Milligan added a run-scoring double for host Notre Dame.

Kostenbader tripled and scored on Bruno Paniccia’s single in the eighth inning. Milligan doubled in the fourth and Chad Ratliff added a two-run double.

Studio City 13, Reseda 4--Chris Romo had three hits and three RBIs and Studio City rallied for seven unearned runs in the second inning on three hits and six Reseda errors.

Reseda will play Newhall-Saugus (H) at The Master’s College at 1:30 this afternoon.

Woodland Hills (East) 8, Palmdale 4--Adam Zutler hit a run-scoring single and Ceo Wimmer followed with a sacrifice fly that scored the go-ahead run as visiting Woodland Hills rallied for five runs in the ninth inning.

Encino-Crespi 6, Sepulveda 2--Dan Carroll threw a seven-hitter with three strikeouts and 16 groundouts to lead host Encino-Crespi and raise his record to 3-0.

John Dempsey had three RBIs and Mark Maurizi, Scott Barton and Chad Nichols each had two hits.

Lancaster 10, West Hills 6--Lancaster hit three home runs and took advantage of five errors to record the win. Five West Hills players each collecting two hits.

Jeff Burdick, Greg Baumgartner, J. D. Choy, Pete Miller and Colin Havert had two hits for West Hills.
