Westminster’s Klesko Pitches West to 4-0 Win

Ryan Klesko of Westminster High School pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts to lead the West team to a 4-0 victory over the South on Tuesday in the U.S. Junior Baseball championships in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Mike Smedes of Laguna Hills High had two hits and scored a run and Joe Furukawa of Canyon High added an RBI single.
The West had defeated the North, 2-0, Monday on a two-run triple by Furukawa. The West plays the South today.
