Agoura 35, Simi Valley 20--Agoura quarterback Brian Jauch completed 8 of 13 passes for 138 yards and Dave Caramanis gained 90 yards in 11 carries to lead the Chargers at Simi Valley.
Jauch connected with Shane Geringer on an 8-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter as Agoura assumed a 28-12 halftime lead. Caramanis scored on touchdown runs of 16 and 6 yards.
After Agoura linebacker Chris Oswald recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for the game’s first score, Simi Valley’s Chad Johnson returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.
