Venice 16, Monroe 14--Monroe kicker Josh Lawrence’s 27-yard field-goal attempt was blocked with 40 seconds left to thwart the Vikings’ comeback bid at Venice. Venice overcame a 14-3 halftime deficit and scored the winning touchdown on a 3-yard run by junior Louis Jones 26 seconds into the fourth quarter.
