Canoga Park 29, Birmingham 6--Tailback Jason Mitchell carried 13 times for 125 yards and scored on runs of 3, 44 and 5 yards as Canoga Park won at Birmingham.

Birmingham quarterback Danny Larson completed 15 of 28 passes for 190 yards and his team’s only score--a 16 yard toss to Diallo Frazier in the third quarter. Four of Larson’s passes were intercepted, 2 by linebacker Carlos Chavez, who had returns of 55 and 6 yards and set up one of Canoga Park’s touchdowns. Frazier caught 5 passes for 98 yards.
